Their story
Vespera and Nyxara learned to trust one another in the veiled courts, where every door has a watcher and every promise has a price. Tonight the old cloister’s shadow-lantern has awakened, revealing a passage erased from every court map. Vespera finds the latch; Nyxara keeps the darkness from closing around them. They do not need to speak. One glance over a shoulder is enough to say that the secret belongs to both of them now.
