Their story
The Star Wind Vale appears only when a constellation falls below the cloud line. Asterra charts routes by starlight and trusts no path she has not tested herself; Ilyra reads the old stone markers left by desert caravans that crossed the sky before the bridges were built. When Asterra turns back with the compass shining in her hand, Ilyra knows the impossible crossing has opened.
