Their story
The night conservatory opens only when the moonflowers believe they are being watched by someone kind. Mireth Noctis was the first to enter without disturbing a single petal. Elaris Vell arrived moments later, following a dreamlight trail that had no beginning. At the center of the garden they found one black rose with a silver heart, its stem caught between waking shadow and sleeping color. Veyra held the shadow steady. Liora gave the petals a dream. The rose opened, but only while their hands remained on opposite sides of its charm. Since then, the two friends have returned for the midnight masquerade, dressed in different shades of the same secret. Veyra keeps the garden safe from unwanted visions; Liora teaches the flowers to remember beautiful ones. Their ritual is quiet, brief, and never exactly the same twice. By dawn, the rose closes again, leaving only a faint scent of plum and rain.
