Their story
The tide-runes of the canal crown were designed to translate water into memory, but they were never meant to sing. Nerelith hears the current’s moods; Ravena can map those moods into living glyphs. When the hourglass begins pouring light upward, the two collaborators realize the city has given them a message—and answer it with a pattern only they could make together.
