Her story
Mirelle learned to read currents by feeling their pressure against her skin, and she learned early that Sea Elves cannot breathe beneath the waves. Every descent is therefore deliberate: a silent count, a held breath, and a clean dive through open water before she rises again with the map of the current fixed in memory.
