Her story
Aurelia Sunmere inherited a crown but chose the horizon. Whenever courtly life grows too loud, she slips away to the coral beaches beyond the summer palaces, where the sea accepts no titles and the wind rearranges every carefully pinned strand of hair. She says the floating sunstones are fragments of dawn, and spends long afternoons charting their reflections in the water before returning home with sand on her ankles and a new story for the royal astronomers.
