Vaia Meret is the Dawn Lenswright of the First Light Atelier, where she restores ancient heliographs to guide the Sun Court’s healing beacons. She can hear a damaged lens resonate out of tune before its first beam is cast. Each morning she calibrates the great rose-gold array, turning scattered dawnlight into a precise ribbon that reaches distant gardens and desert villages.
