Her story
Sahra Veyra is the Roseglass Pathfinder, a cartographer who maps the oasis roads that surface for only a few minutes each dawn. Her roseglass compass does not point north; it catches the angle of the first sunlight and reveals which dunes have shifted overnight. She travels ahead of desert caravans, leaving tiny gold sun-marks on safe stones and keeping the lost routes of the Saffron Meridian alive.
