Their story
Ivrienne tends the winter crystals while Soryn reads the night sky. Each year they meet in the open conservatory to align the lantern that marks the safest crossing over the frozen lake. The old rite asks for two different kinds of sight, and the first green light of the aurora always appears when their readings agree.
