Her story
Selka Aven apprenticed at the wind towers above the mountain passes, learning to read cloud seams and the invisible lift between ridges. As a thermal-route surveyor, she marks dependable currents for sailwing couriers and keeps the high passes open when weather turns. Couriers trust her charts because every route is tested in the open air before she inks it.
